Verde Potash is a Brazilian fertilizer development company focused on advancing the Cerrado Verde Project. Cerrado Verde is the source of a potash-rich rock from which the Company plans to produce the potash fertilizer product, potassium chloride ("KCl"). Founded as Amazon Mining Holding Plc in 2005, the Company changed its name to Verde Potash Plc in April 2011 to better reflect its core business. Verde is also exploring for limestone; limestone being integral to the production of KCl.
